The launch of EPIC Workforce Development , attended by over 30 Stakeholders was held on 23rd September at Hylands House in Chelmsford.  The key note speaker was Professor Tony Young, National Clinical Director for Innovation, NHS England who delivered an enlightening presentation on the future of healthcare in the UK.  Louise Kitley, Strategic Development Lead from the Essex Workforce Partnership, Andrew Pike, Director NHS England East also spoke about the importance of strengthening Primary Care in Essex.  The EPIC Workforce Development website was showcased and Kamilla Porter Clinical Lead, outlined how this pioneering workforce centre would become an integration engine driving recruitment and retention in the primary care workforce across Essex. Stakeholders were invited to collaborate closely and contribute to the success of this initiative throughout the County.
